Celebrating all the Milestones
There is something incredibly special about your baby’s first year. It moves fast — faster than we ever expect — and each stage carries its own magic, challenges, and tiny victories. These milestone sessions are my way of slowing time just enough to honor exactly who your baby is in this season.
This is not about perfection. It’s about personality. It’s about documenting the smiles and the serious faces, the curiosity, the wiggles, the cuddles, and even the moments when your baby needs a pause. Every session is baby-led, gentle, and intentionally stress-free.

A Baby‑Led Experience, Always

From the moment you walk in, know this: there are no expectations placed on your baby. No one will be rushed. No one will be forced to smile, sit, stand, or perform. Babies are beautifully unpredictable — and that’s the whole point. Some arrive ready to explore, some need extra snuggles, some are all smiles, and some take a little while to warm up. Every reaction is normal. Every emotion is worthy of being remembered.
I follow your baby’s cues and comfort level throughout the session, rolling with whatever the moment brings. Often, the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments — the thoughtful looks, the quiet pauses, the way they reach for you when they need reassurance.

Celebrating each Milestone

Three months
At three months, everything feels soft and new. These sessions focus on connection — those first intentional expressions, stretches, eye contact, and the subtle hints of personality beginning to emerge. Babies at this age don’t need to do much. Simply being present is enough.
six months
Six months is often when the magic really starts to bloom. Sitting (or almost sitting), big smiles, curious hands, and expressive little faces take center stage. This milestone is all about interaction and showing off who your baby is becoming.
nine months
Nine months brings movement and discovery. Crawling, pulling up, clapping, exploring — this stage is playful and full of energy. Sessions are relaxed and flexible, allowing your baby the freedom to move, explore, and be themselves.
One Year
The one-year milestone is a season of movement, independence, and big personality — and there’s no single right way to document it. This stage is offered in a few thoughtfully designed options, all with the same baby-led, pressure-free approach.
Some families choose a simple, timeless milestone session, often clean and monochrome, focusing on expressions, movement, and who your baby is at one year old. Others opt for a cake smash or styled birthday session, which leans more celebratory while still staying calm and unforced. Some babies dive right in, others take their time — both are perfect.
Whether your baby is crawling, cruising, standing, or confidently walking, the session meets them exactly where they are. The goal is always the same: to honor this milestone in a way that feels true, meaningful, and stress-free.
What to Bring (and What to Leave at Home)
I’ve curated these sessions from top to bottom so you don’t have to worry about the details. Your job is simple: bring what helps your baby feel safe and comforted.
Snacks or milk, a pacifier (even if it’s just for backup), a favorite soothing toy, comfort items like a lovey or blanket, and anything that helps calm or regulate your baby are always encouraged. Music can be incredibly helpful too — a short playlist of favorite songs can work wonders.
Sentimental items are always welcome if they feel meaningful to you. Just remember, these sessions are meant to feel easy and relaxed. Less truly is more.
As for outfits — unless we’ve discussed something specific, there’s no need to bring any. These sessions are fully styled with intention so everything photographs beautifully and cohesively.
About Phones & Attention
For babies six months and older, I gently ask that phones stay tucked away during the session. While it’s tempting to use them to get attention, they often create the opposite effect once they’re put away.
Babies and toddlers won’t hold phones during the session, but behind‑the‑scenes photos and videos are always welcome. If you share them, I’d love for you to tag me @wildfourimages.
A Final Note
Your baby doesn’t need to smile on command or follow a plan to create beautiful images. They simply need the freedom to be themselves.
These sessions are about honoring your baby’s story — exactly as it unfolds in that moment. Trust your baby. Trust the process. I’ll take care of the rest.
If you have any questions before your session, I’m always here.
